Data Protection

What is Data Protection?

Data protection is about keeping individuals’ personal and sensitive information safe against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access, and ensuring it is processed fairly.

In the UK, data protection is governed by the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the DPA (Data Protection Act) 2018.  These regulations govern how organisations like schools store and handle any personal data they collect. Below are links to our policies and privacy notices which have been updated for Data Protection.
