Welcome

Welcome to Include Wales

My name is Andrew Preedy and I am proud to introduce myself as Headteacher at Catch22 Include Wales.

Catch22 include Wales is a registered Independent Special School. We provide full-time, alternative education for young people, most of whom have Social, Emotional, and/or Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

We are registered with the Welsh Government for 30 places at Key Stage 1 and 2. Pupils attend our school for assessment, social nurture and academic intervention, before being supported back into appropriate mainstream or specialist schooling.

I thoroughly enjoy working in education and I have a firm belief in all our young people. As a teacher, and as a parent, I believe all children should have access to excellent education, so I am determined that the school builds on its legacy and continues to flourish.

I am privileged to work with an experienced and committed staff team who amaze me daily with their resilience and the care that they provide our pupils.

It is our goal for each child that attends our school to become the very best version of themselves that they can be. Our mission is to enable each pupil to leave our school with renewed confidence in their ability and for this steppingstone to provide a springboard to permanent school placement and academic career.  I am extremely proud of the progress pupils make within our school socially, as well as academically.

We pride ourselves in our excellent communication with our pupils, parents/carers, partnerships to ensure that we continue to progress as a school and our pupils receive the very best support while they are with us. By working together, we can ensure that your children exhibit our ethos, based on our 3P - People, Place & Purpose - Model so that they enjoy their time at school, make excellent progress and leave us with the necessary skills and attitudes to lead successful and fulfilling lives.

Kind regards,
